Mr. Matlaw boasts 30 years of international sales and marketing management experience for a variety of industrial companies including Microtools (IMC group), Vargus, Habonim Valves, Ham-let Instrumentation, and Iscar's Blades Technologies. American-born, Mr. Matlaw has traveled extensively to over 40 countries, and conducted business in all world markets; during the last 10 years, specializing in creating the cultural and commercial bridge between international manufacturers in the tooling and metal industries and the India market. Mr. Matlaw earned a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and Columbia University, New York, respectively.
Founder of Banyan Tooling Consultants, Mr. Nandkishore Shetty has gained invaluable hands-on experience in all aspects of assisting foreign companies penetrate Indian market. A Mechanical Engineer since 1989 now a veteran with 30 years of experience in the Indian cutting tool industry, Mr. Shetty held upper management positions in Balzers, YG-1 and Vargus. He is a well known and highly respected cutting tool professional in India. Mr. Nandkishore Shetty has successfully launched and/or established brands such as Oerlikon Coatings Formerly Balzers Coatings (Switzerland), YG-1 Company (Korea), Vargus (Israel), Union Tools Co. (Japan), Widin Tools Formerly Hana Tools (Korea), Palbit Hardmetal (Portugal), ToolGal Diamond Grinding Wheels (Israel), Allied Machine & Engineering Co (USA), Comet (Korea) and Tool-Flo (USA).
A qualified Mechanical Engineer, Mr. Sudhir Lagad brings the team 20 years of hands-on shop floor experience, having worked many years for Indian-based, global companies including Kalyani Forge Die and Mold Manufacturing Division (A Bharat Forge Group company). He has provided successful field support, product qualification testing and distributor training to manufacturers of a wide range of world-class cutting tool brands including Union Tools Co. (Japan), Widin Tools (formerly Hana Tools, Korea), Palbit Hardmetal (Portugal), Tool Gal Diamond Grinding Wheels (Israel), Kyocera Asia (Japan) and Tool-Flo (USA). Sudhir has gained popularity and high respect of principles, distributors and end users for his unique technical skills, patience and determination to provide practical solutions for the most difficult technical challenges .
